Who am I!

My full name is Abdul Hafiz Ibne Talukdar. My nick name is Sampad. 'Sampad' means 'Asset'. In Bangladesh I am well known as Sampad. But outside Bangladesh my preferred name is Hafiz.  Currently, I am a PhD candidate in University of South Carolina, USA under the supervision of Dr. Goutam Koley. I am working as a Research Assistant in Nano Electronics and Sensors Lab (NESL). My primary focus is on III-V Nitride based devices and its physcis for sensing applications. Previously, I completed my MSc from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) on May 2011 and my major track was Solid State Electronics. I completed my BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) on January 2008. 

Why create a website!

It is my first experience to make a website! Hope it goes well. This idea came to mind not just to put myself on the web but to create a place where I can put my experiences. So if someone suggests me to modify the site in any perspective, I would really appreciate.
